Roof Cleaning Fanwood NJ 07023

This roof treatment was performed by Thompson Roof Cleaning of Wodbridge NJ @ 732-726-9261. These are some photos of before and after roof cleanings in Fanwood NJ.  If you’re familiar with the area and know the Midway Avenue area, then you know there is no shortage of unsightly roofs in the area.  This is not a large home but the staining is typical. The black staining on the roofing shingle is a bacteria called Gleocapsa Magma. It generally grows on the North side of the roofs where there is the least sunlight. A foaming fungicide is used to destroy the cells of the organism with a 100% kill ratio which leaves the roof stains free for a minimum of 5 years.  There were no machines used in this process.  Whether the roofing shingles are infested with mold, mildew, moss, or lichen, we use the same non-pressure method to achieve perfect results.

I really like the “During” picture. Sometimes the Before & After just doesn’t seem as dramatic.
