Getting cement to whiten may require more than pressure alone. Cement is pourus and may require a special cleaning agent to assist the process. Using a combination of chlorinated soaps with a little surfactant seems to work quite well. Using a chemical resistant pump sprayer may work best to apply the agent accurately, for this solution is not friendly to grass or other landscape. Allow the whitener to dwell for approximately 15 minutes, than using a 25 degree turbo nozzle wil finish the job.  Most of what stains a sidewalk is organic like mold or mildew.  Pressure washing alone simply blows live mold spores everywhere.  By pre-treating the stain the mold dies at the root.  The cement will stay cleaner for a longer period of time.
High pressure cleaning isn;t alway the answer.  New cement can have the cream off the top removed if too much pressure is used and can leave permanent damage and striping to the surface.

Dumpster Pads

Dumpster pads in New Jersey are notorious for the horrible smell they omit.  Cleaning a dumpster pad can require degreasers, maybe some chlorine with a hot water pressure cleaning.  Monthly maintenance can be the best route for maintaining busy dumpster pads.Store_5

Rust Removal

It’s sad to see a white cemented area turn orange.  This can be caused by to much iron in the irrigation water, by fertilizers or even certain icing repellents.  This is caused by a chemical reaction therefore it will take another chemical reaction to remove it.  Pressure washing alone will most likely fail to solve this problem.

Grease Removal

A good degreaser and hot water can go a long way.  There are even oil eaters which are actually organisms the eat and disperse the grease that will assist the removal during hot water pressure cleaning.
