The Process

Detergents are calibrated with a proper ph level to dissolve dark algae staining while moss and other rooted vegetation will die immediately with treatment.
Dead moss is left to decompose and fall away with time. The time it takes to fall away depends on the amount of time the dead vegetation is allowed to dry out and separate from the roof. Moss is never on the sunny side of a roof therefore requires patience. Moss can take up to a year to fall away depending though in most cases 90 days or less will suffice.
